Thanks to our many generous supporters, the historic Avalon Theatre was rescued from closing in 2003 and continues to be a vibrant, community-focused cinematic landmark in DC’s Chevy Chase neighborhood. As a non-profit theater, the Avalon relies on the support of our friends and patrons to maintain the theater as a venue for outstanding films and programs.
