The 1923 Medallion Society is a singular group of thoughtful individuals who have supported the Avalon through a provision in their estate plans. Members’ generosity is acknowledged through prominent recognition in the theater and online, unless you prefer to remain anonymous.

Including the Avalon in your estate planning is easy

Gifts can be made through a bequest in your will or by adding the Avalon as a beneficiary of an insurance policy or retirement plan. Simply share this sentence with your attorney or finnancial planner:

“I give, devise and bequeath to the Avalon Theatre, a qualified 501(c)(3) charitable organization located in Washington, DC, percent of my residual estate [or a specific bequest of $____ to be used in accordance with the written directive I have signed that provides instructions for the use of this gift and, if none exists, for unrestricted use at the Avalon Theatre.”
